July 8th/07. Some pix from Waterton! THe Chinook outdoor club did the Alderson Carthew hike.
We split up into a few different groups. One group went up to the false summit and then back down to the cars and drove them back to the village...
Kiki went with one group up to Carthew summit and followed the trail to the townsite. I went with Ken Mcdermott and Chris Clack up to Mt. Carthew, following the interconnecting ridge from Summit Lake... We dropped off Carthew and followed the ridge over to Mt. Buchanan. From there, we dropped back down to the trail back to the townsite. The others had been waiting for hours!
